Terms and Conditions of Sale:


Cancellation Policy – ALP Chartres


These terms apply to bookings made directly with SCI ALP CHARTRES, including on the website www.alp-chartres.fr.


1. Cancellation at least five days before arrival


Guests may cancel their booking up to five days before the scheduled arrival date, by 4 p.m. (Paris time).

In this case, 98% of the stay price paid will be refunded.

A flat fee of 2% of the stay price is charged to cover processing and cancellation costs. This fee is disclosed to the guest before the booking is confirmed.

Any tourist tax collected will be refunded in full if it is not due.


2. Cancellation less than five days before arrival


If cancellation is made after this deadline, the accommodation charge remains payable and no refund of the accommodation charge will be given, subject to mandatory legal provisions.

Tourist taxes that are not due will be refunded.

Bookings made less than five days before arrival are subject to these same terms as soon as they are confirmed.


3. No-shows and early departures


In the event of a no-show or early departure by the guest, no refund of the accommodation charge will be given, subject to mandatory legal provisions.


4. Cancellation by ALP Chartres


If ALP Chartres is unable to provide the stay, any amounts paid for services not provided will be refunded in full.

If ALP Chartres cancels for reasons not constituting legitimate grounds, the guest is also entitled to compensation equal to the amount they would have owed if they had cancelled on the same date, without prejudice to any other statutory rights.

Force majeure situations are handled in accordance with applicable law.


5. Cancellation and refund terms


All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to ALP Chartres using one of the contact methods listed in the booking confirmation.

The date and time the request is received will determine which terms apply.

Refunds are made to the original payment method. ALP Chartres will initiate them within 14 days of confirming the cancellation and the refund amount.

The time it takes for the refund to be credited depends on the bank.


6. No statutory right of withdrawal


Under Article L.221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, accommodation services provided on a specific date or during a specific period are not covered by the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

The cancellation terms set out above still apply.


7. Bookings made through platforms


Bookings made through Airbnb, Booking.com or any other platform are subject to the cancellation terms accepted on that platform at the time of booking, subject to mandatory legal provisions.


Security deposit and liability for damage


A €300 guarantee (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, etc.), secured via Stripe https://stripe.com/, is required to cover any damage to the accommodation, damage to equipment, lost keys, and exceptional costs directly attributable to the guest.


The payment method registered at the time of booking may be charged up to an additional €300 in the event of damage or substantiated costs. Any additional payment remains subject to valid prior authorisation and the applicable terms.


No amount is charged or held as part of this guarantee at the time of booking.


This €300 guarantee does not in any way limit the guest’s liability.


If the amount of the damage and substantiated costs exceeds €300, ALP Chartres reserves the right to claim the full amount of any remaining loss from the guest, in accordance with applicable law, including Article 1732 of the French Civil Code.

Any amounts claimed must relate to damage actually attributable to the guest, duly documented and substantiated, excluding depreciation and normal wear and tear.


ALP Chartres will inform the guest of any damage identified and provide supporting documentation for the amounts claimed.


Apartment Rules


  • The accommodation is strictly non-smoking, including at the windows.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Parties, evening events and other events are prohibited.
  • Self check-in is available between 4pm and 10pm using a key safe. No reception or in-person welcome service is provided.
  • Check-out must take place before 10am.
  • No breakfast service is provided.
  • The accommodation is provided clean on arrival. No cleaning service is provided during the stay. Guests are responsible for routine upkeep of the accommodation during their stay and must leave it in a reasonable state of cleanliness.
  • Bed linen and towels are provided on arrival. No linen replacement or change service is provided during the stay.
  • The guest who made the booking must personally stay at the accommodation.
  • Any commercial or professional activity involving receiving clients at the accommodation is prohibited.
  • We accept no responsibility for damage, theft or incidents involving parked vehicles.
  • Internet access must be used lawfully and responsibly.
  • The key safe and the area around it are monitored by a camera.
